This article will assist you with your Voicemail PIN, Voicemail Greeting, and Receiving voicemail notification via email
To View or Modify your Voicemail Pin Number:
From the Dialpad app on your computer
- Click on your initials/profile picture in the top right of the application
- Click on Profile
- Scroll down to User & Voicemail PIN
You can now see your PIN number
You will use your PIN if you access your voicemail from your desk phone or external source.
Click change to UPDATE the voicemail PIN
To Setup Voicemail Greeting:
From the Dialpad App on your computer
- Click on your initial or profile picture at the top right of the application
- Click on Profile
- Scroll Down to Call handling and voicemail
- Click on this to expand all the options
- You can record your greeting here via the computer by clicking on the “record a greeting” button under the drop down.
A pop up window opens and allows you to record your greeting and name it:
- Name the Greeting and then click Start recording
There will be a short count down and a beep when the system is ready for you to record.
To Receive a Voicemail notification to your email:
- Check the box here that says 'Receive email notifications for new voicemails'
Alternately, to Record your Voicemail Greeting from your Desk Phone
From the Desk Phone hit the Message Button
The Voicemail system will prompt you for your PIN
After typing in your PIN, the voice attendant will prompt you to hit 2 for recording/changing your Voicemail Greeting
